Hi, yes, hello. Massive fan of games like Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Divinity, and pretty much every RPG that takes the in-game experience to the next level with some woo hoo action, so it should be of no surprise to anyone that Baldur's Gate 3 romance should come up in casual conversation.
Divinity Original Sin 2 Male Romance Options
The world got our first real look at Baldur's Gate 3 yesterday with some actual gameplay and to say it looked incredible would be a massive understatement. So many new characters to meet and familiar faces making their return, it looks like it's going to be a stellar ride, but the real question is who is bangable? Apparently, well, everyone!
In a recent interview with PCGamesN, senior producer David Walgrave mentioned a previous game that the same studio did: Divinity Original Sin 2. In DOS2, any companion you come across is a romance option and Walgrave confirmed that Baldur's Gate 3 will work much in the same way.

During a recent press event for the game before the big reveal, players were able to meet some oh-ho-ho-ho friendly faces, though the demo wasn't long enough to actually get some romance going. No lizards like in Divinity, but the night is young.

About the author
- Oct 23, 2015 Rinoa essentially had to convince Squall (the player character!) to date her. Once he accepted it, the romance really meant something to Squall, and it completely changed his outlook. In Divinity: Original Sin, you choose to let a companion join your party, or you don't. If you don't invite them to your party, then they just stand around doing.
- Apr 25, 2013 So far I know the only romances that end happily are Ifan in 3 endings, since if you become Divine after he fixes his home he comes back to you with an army of elves, and he stays with you in the ending in which everyone has source since you have the option to go together to hunt voidwoken, and if someone else is Divine since you have a dialogue saying that you'll stay together.
- Without the community, Divinity: Original Sin would never have been the success that it was, and now we're asking for your support and guidance once again. On the August 26th we'll be returning to Kickstarter with Divinity: Original Sin 2, but you don't have to wait until then to have your say. We'll want a lot of feedback as we progress, but.
With an arguably unhealthy obsession with Dragon Age and Mass Effect, Liana is wildly passionate about all things in the gaming community. From shooters, to RPGs, if it's out - she's playing it.A medically retired US Sailor and now full-time hoarder of gaming collectibles, Liana's passion for everything in the gaming industry is palpable. Also, if you lose her in a crowd, just casually mention any BioWare game and the crazy pterodactyl screech will without a doubt follow. You can follow her on Twitter @DirtyEffinHippy or email her for editorial inquiries at [email protected]!
Companions in Divinity: Original Sin 2 are Party Members that can join the player during the course of the game. They have unique conversation Tags and have their own Class and equipment.
Initially, If your companion goes missing, you can find them back at their recruiting point, or they sit a bit east of Amadia's Sanctuary at the beach (next to the corpse of a Magister Swordsman) (x:390 y:21). Other places where you can find them are: on Lady Vengeance; mostly on the 2nd floor.
Note: While in Act 1 you can swap companions whenever you want, test their combat abilities, get to know them, run their sidequest content, etc. If your team is full just dismiss one of your current party members and you can pick up another Origin character. You can do this at any time for the rest of the Act, and the characters will just hang around in their usual spots if you dismiss them. Once you reach the end of Act 1, your party members will all 'leave' and go wander the area you are in. You then get one last chance at selecting Origin characters to stick with you, any you don't pick will leave for good.
Starting in Act 2 you will have your recruited Origin characters, and gain the ability to recruit mercenaries (if you feel like you really need to swap someone out, or if one of your characters dies permanently). These are generic custom characters who don't have any influence on plot or questlines, and have no special dialogue options.
